Genairex offers a range of effective and reliable stoma pastes & powders including the pectin-based paste which helps in preventing skin irritation and stoma leakage. The paste acts as a “caulk” to fill in uneven skin surfaces on the stoma where the appliance is attached. It is suitable for use on healed and healthy stomas to maintain skin wellness and prevent leakage. However, it contains alcohol and is not recommended for use on open wounds or skin ulcers. This product has been available since July 10, 2012, and is not discontinued by the manufacturer.
